The Jerilderie Public school will celebrate its 150th Anniversary Celebrations on the weekend of the Jerilderie District Racing Club race day. Join in a great day of fun on Saturday 21st from 11.00am at the race course.

The official celebrations will occur on Sunday 22 September.

• 09.00 - 10.00 - Registration of Visitors in School Library, and issuing of colour-coded Name Tags

• 10.00 – 10.45 - Call to order by joint MC’s – 2019 School Captains

• Welcome to Country, by Barbara Browne, or her Designate

• Official Welcome – Mayor, Murrumbidgee Council

• Introductory remarks – Director of Education, Helen McRae

• Special Guest speaker – Michael Bennett, great grandson of Sir John Monash

• tbc Time Capsule Reveal & Tree Planting ceremony, performed by Michael Bennett.

• 11.00 – 3.00 pm - Memorabilia Display in School Rooms 4/5

• Tours of School Buildings and Memorials

• 12.30 – 1.30 pm - Barbecue Lunch – P & C

• tbc Cake cutting ceremony – performed by youngest student and oldest ex-student
